Is a Christmas fireplace complete without a garland? Get one to match the style of your Christmas tree; they can be real or artificial and many places now sell them. Accessorise them with holly, pinecones and cinnamon sticks to bring in all of the natural scents of Christmas into your home. Of course, we can’t forget fairy lights! Complete your garland with pretty fairy lights to really add to the cosy feel.
Candles
Candles can really add to a Christmas theme. Scented candles are our favourites, particularly when they’re in Christmas scents such as gingerbread, cinnamon, and winter spice. However, it’s really important to not put candles too near anything that is flammable such as a garland.
Ornaments and Accessories
Our final tip for your Christmas fireplace is to decorate it with ornaments and accessories. The range of Christmas accessories in stores nowadays is endless so you’ll always find something to match the style of your home. Hang some stockings or bunting from your mantelpiece. Get reindeer or santa ornaments to decorate with.
