The words ‘but, it’s too cold to go outside’ will no longer be uttered in your household, as you can enjoy many a relaxing evening on your patio, in your shed, summerhouse or cabin, no matter the season.
Stove safety
Like with any wood burning fireplace or stove placed in your home, the one in your garden or outdoor space is no different – stoves need fresh air to burn safely. Always make sure there is an open vent, and that your chimney is clean and not faulty.
If your outdoor wood burning stove is in a garden building, make sure it is well away from combustibles. This includes: wood, fuel, gas containers, oil, candles, cushions, clothing, books and furnishings – basically anything that could create a fire hazard.
